It’s hard to believe that nearly ten years have passed since Williwaw first opened its doors.

What started as an idea became a place filled with music, celebration, late nights, unforgettable performances, first dates, wedding parties, holiday gatherings, and countless moments shared together under one roof.

Over the years, we watched this space become more than just a venue. It became part of the rhythm of downtown Anchorage — shaped by the artists who played here, the staff who gave it life, and every guest who walked through our doors.

To everyone who supported Williwaw over the last decade: thank you.

Thank you for the memories, the energy, the laughter, the packed dance floors, the concerts, the rooftop sunsets, and for allowing us to be part of your lives and this community.

After nearly ten unforgettable years, Williwaw has made the decision to close this chapter and officially close its doors on May 30th. We do so with immense gratitude and pride for what was created here together.

Anchorage gave Williwaw its soul, and we will never forget it.
